Mini Biografia

Jeff è nato a Olean, New York e si è trasferito a Buffalo quando aveva 10 anni, dove ha frequentato la Father Baker’s High School. Dopo il diploma nel 1972, ha viaggiato intorno al mondo lavorando come tuttofare.

Ha lavorato su una barca da pesca, ha guidato un ambulanza in Germania, ha venduto porta a porta enciclopedie e aspirapolveri, è stato allenatore in un club sportivo, vissuto in un Kibbutz a Israele, fatto trekking tra l’ Himalaya e l’ Afghanistan e passato molto tempo in India.

In seguito è tornato a Buffalo e ha frequentato lo Studio Arena Theatre.

Da qui Jeff è andato a NYC dove ha studiato con Myra Rastova, cominciando a lavorare nei teatri fuori broadway e in soap operas televisive.

Jeff si è guadagnato l’attenzione come attore cinematografico nel film di Lawrence Kasden “Silverado” dove ha interpretato Tyree, un killler a sangue freddo con sete di vendetta.

Jeff ha partecipato al molto acclamato gioco televisivo “The Execution of Raymond Graham” e nella mini serie  “444 Days.”

E’ apparso in una rivisitazione di “Brigadoon” di Broadway e a Londra in “Orphans” con Albert Finney.

Curiosità

Jeff ha 12 fratelli.

E’ co-fondatore della American Road Production Workshop Series al Raft Theatre di New York, e partecipa ai Writers’ & Directors’ Workshops.

Ha una sua compagnia di produzione sotto il nome Tyree Productions, della quale sono soci 5 dei suoi fratelli.

È entrato a far parte del cast di “Lost” (2004) nel 2008 e lavora con due ex co-stars, Josh Holloway, con il quale ha lavorato in Cold Heart (2001), e Naveen Andrews, con il quale ha lavorato in Grindhouse (2007).
